City of Dreams in SF (This is No April Fool’s Joke)

I just wanted to give a quick shout out to City of Dreams and my roommate Megan.   About a year ago, she got involved in this organization; starting at a training session, and then at a Super Saturday event (a group mentoring activity). After going on a camping trip, she connected with two sisters who are Jr. Mentors in the program (Brianna and Shanice).  Megan decided to take the next step and asked to become their “one-on-one” mentor.   Living with Megan, I have seen the commitment she has made to Brianna and Shanice.   They are very special to her, and she talks about them and their relationship ALL THE TIME.  It is truly admirable.  Needless to say, this organization is really important to her, and by association, to me.

Megan is participating in the Bowl for the Kids to raise money for City of Dreams and we would both greatly appreciate if you would make a donation by visiting her Firstgiving page: http://www.firstgiving.com/meganfisher

You can donate online with a credit card. All donations are secure and sent directly to City of Dreams by Firstgiving, who will email you a printable record of your donation. City of Dreams is a recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with tax ID #20-0719899.

Times are tough so anything is greatly appreciated… no donation is too small!
